All caked up and ready to become The Shift cowl, but not before I finish binding off my Speckle & Pop shawl. Gotta get creative to finish long term projects 🤣 How do you motivate yourself to finish old WIPs?
Now that the holiday ornament swap is over I can share what I made! A 3” niddy noddy made from polymer clay 😁 I’m super happy with how it came out and will have to make one for myself one day!
Point twill, extended point twill, and dornik twill. I made it through the rest of the patterns in my floor loom weaving class 🎉 Next part of the warp is weavers choice 😁

Step outside your comfort zone and try something different, you might hate it, BUT you might love it!!! - I’m not one for crazy color mash ups but I had to give it a try- and surprisingly I love it so much! This yarn was spun using 1 ply of an orange gradient and 1 ply of multi colored “odds & ends” The result is a gradient orange with flashes of color. I hope it looks just as amazing knit up.
